THE INAUGURAL ROCK & BOWL WRAP-UP


On April 14, 2007, Luis Lorenzana, Vince Knoss & Michael Schmitz launched the first Rock & Bowl Fundraiser in San Francisco and it was an undeniable success that exceeded all of our expectations.   So far, after paying off the bar bill, we have raised $10,712 for The Maria Goretti Auxiliary Charities.  Thank you to all of you that donated to our cause.  Your support means the world to us and to these kids and elderly who will directly benefit.  

Luis and his brother went to El Salvador to distribute the money donated.  Check out this video to see how thankful the people you helped truly are:

The first Rock & Bowl was a non-stop party!

 All the participants and their fans made the night one we will never forget.  Teams came dressed in costumes and ready to bowl.  Luis' 4 year old nephew Brandon kicked off the night by bowling the honorary First Ball, which pumped everyone up.  We had contests that proved to be humbling to most participants.  Basically, none of us will be on the Denny's Pro Tour anytime soon.  We gave away and auctioned off several prizes and we also gave out some hilarious trophies to people that really made an impression the night of the event.  (To check out the prizes and the winners, click Event Recap).  There you will find more pictures and details on the event and the donors that made the night possible.

We hope that everyone that came had as much fun as we did and we look forward to seeing you at Rock & Bowl II Electric Boogaloo.  With a name like that you know it will be fun!  This year we will be raising money for the Dengue Relief Foundation (Stay tuned for the date sometime this summer).
